Team NXT (pronounced Team Next) is the name of this new creative collective of teenagers that are working behind the scenes with Dancing in the Streets staff to learn the dynamics and skills of event planning and how the first and second generation of Hip Hop have shaped the culture by creating their own events, records, etc.

HIP HOP GENERATION NEXT is funded in part by Independence Community Foundation, Mertz Gilmore Foundation, Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, The New York Times Company Foundation, and Pennsylvania Performing Arts on Tour, and with public support from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, and the New York State Council on the Arts.
