Dancing on the Plaza

The third installment of the annual “Dancing on the Plaza,” a multi-year series of outdoor performances at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, features three energetic dance companies presenting a dynamic range of contemporary dance in two distinct back-to-back weekend performances.

Friends of Dag Hammarskjold Plaza is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization of community volunteers whose mission is park vitality, beautification and upkeep. As stewards of the park the group works in partnership with NYC Parks and Recreation and other organizations who share a commitment to public space. Dag Hammarskjold Plaza is the gateway to the United Nations, site of the Katharine Hepburn Garden and Holocaust Memorial Wall. For more information contact Olga Hoffmann at 212-969-8820.
