BREAKING GROUND- A Dance Charrette

A multi-year urban voyage to the far corners of New York City that invites artists and audiences to explore new ways of making and viewing dance while exploring compelling New York City sites and the stories they tell.

A wacky romp for 25 pedestrians and dancers, inspired by the actual sound level at the Tobacco Warehouse and by the nature of city sidewalk traffic.  Expanded from the 7-minute work Keigwin created for Dancing in the Streets’ 2005 BREAKING GROUND – A Dance Charrette

 

Municipal Art Society DUMBO Walking Tour

Tour Brooklyn's historic DUMBO neighborhood that combines extraordinary architecture and a powerful urban landscape.  Led by Andrew Scott Dolkart, Architectural Historian.
